December 13th- December 15th

What is the Holiday Light Tour?

This is a special event where families and friends can drive through our neighborhoods and enjoy the dazzling lights and holiday displays. Grab your hot cocoa, put on your holiday PJ’s & check out all the decorated homes around Merrimac.

All of the homes on our map will have their amazing holidays lights on each evening from Friday 12/13 to Sunday 12/15 from 6pm-8pm!

Welcome to the Merrimac PTO

Merrimac PTO is a group of parent, staff and community volunteers who organize fundraisers and sponsor school events to benefit the students at the Dr. Frederick N. Sweetsir School and Helen R. Donaghue in Merrimac, Massachusetts.

Our goals are to encourage interactions between family and school and work with teachers, staff and the community at large to improve our children’s educational experience.

  • Support class field trips and in-house programs

  • Purchase new books for the school libraries

  • Provide recess equipment

  • Offer teachers in-classroom resources
