Welcome to the Merrimac PTO
Merrimac PTO is a group of parent, staff and community volunteers who organize fundraisers and sponsor school events to benefit the students at the Dr. Frederick N. Sweetsir School and Helen R. Donaghue in Merrimac, Massachusetts.
Our goals are to encourage interactions between family and school and work with teachers, staff and the community at large to improve our children’s educational experience.

What is the Holiday Light Tour?
This is a special event where families and friends can drive through our neighborhoods and enjoy the dazzling lights and holiday displays. It’s a wonderful way to bring joy to our community while supporting our school!
How You Can Participate:
1. Decorate Your Home: Get creative and decorate your home with holiday lights, inflatables, and other festive decorations.
2. Sign Up: Register your home to be included in the official tour map. You can sign up by clicking the link below
3. Light Up the Night: Ensure your lights are on each evening from Friday 12/13 to Sunday 12/15 from 6pm-8pm
