Welcome to the Merrimac PTO website!

The PTO is a group of parent, staff and community volunteers who organize fundraisers and sponsor school events to benefit the students at Sweetsir and Donaghue schools.  We are looking forward to kicking off the 2016-2017 school year!

Here are a few of the things the PTO does

- Organizes extra-curricular enrichment activities for students

- Plans budget-friendly family fun events throughout the year

- Organizes fundraising events to supply resource materials for our teachers and their classroom

Its official! We will be having a Paint Night!! Our very own Art Teacher, Mrs. Drew Dupre, will be our teacher for the night! We are planning it for Thursday, April 6th at the Sweetsir School! This will be so much fun!!! Thank you to Brienne Walsh for chairing this event! If you have any questions or would like to help with the planning of this event, please contact the Merrimac PTO! Our first ever 5K road race is going to happen!! The town approved our request to run the road race!!! It will take place on August 12th at 10am! We are looking for volunteers to help with all of the planning that goes into this event. If you have been involved with planning a road race before or just ran one yourself, we could use your help! Joining is EASY

We are actively recruiting members for the 2016 / 2017 school year.  If you haven’t already, please join! You can either fill out the Merrimac PTO Membership Form 2016 2017 and send it in with your child, OR, CLICK HERE to fill out the online form. Dues are waived this year! Our first meeting of the year will be Tuesday, September 20 at 7pm at the Sweetsir School. All subsequent meetings will be held at the Donaghue School
